Synopsis
The Anime Lad

In 1333, the Kamakura shogunate collapses and young heir Houjou Tokiyuki loses the political safety surrounding him. A Shinto priest named Suwa Yorishige helps him escape. Tokiyuki goes on the run while holding onto a plan to reclaim his birthright. Retreat has become a long-term strategic assignment.

Super Eyepatch Fox

The Kamakura government falls, leaving young Tokiyuki without protection. He escapes with the Shinto priest Yorishige and becomes a fugitive in his own country. Survival comes first, but Tokiyuki also intends to reclaim what he lost. The action begins from movement away from power rather than possession of it.

Gigguku

Tokiyuki starts from the least heroic-looking position possible: running for his life while an entire political order crumbles behind him. Yorishige, a Shinto priest with plans of his own, guides the young heir onward. That makes every escape feel like resistance. Staying alive becomes the first move in taking a future back.

Father's Basement

Historical upheaval can turn young characters into passengers inside a large timeline. The Elusive Samurai gives Tokiyuki a clear active skill: he survives by escaping. With priest Yorishige beside him and his birthright out of reach, flight becomes more than retreat. It is the practical foundation for any resistance he may build.

In the year 1333, the Kamakura shogunate government comes crumbling down. A trusted vassal, Ashikaga Takauji, betrays the shogunate and organizes a rebellion.
