The Anime Lad
Masatora Akutsu leaves the demon realm for Earth, where he poses as a high school student and searches for a charismatic human recruit. Lily Amane appears ideal. She is also an angel with her own agenda for him. The celestial conflict now includes classroom attendance and increasingly compromised professional judgment.
Super Eyepatch Fox
Demon Akutsu infiltrates a human school to find someone capable of rallying his world. He becomes captivated by Lily, then discovers she belongs to the heavenly opposition. Recruitment turns into a contest of influence, with angelic and demonic agendas squeezed into school life beside his poorly timed attraction.
Gigguku
Akutsu arrives on Earth expecting to recruit a human champion and instead locks onto Lily, the one classmate capable of overturning his entire mission. She is an angel. He is a demon. Both have plans for the other, and every attempt at dominance risks becoming romantic embarrassment. Their supernatural rivalry has spectacular loser energy.
Father's Basement
The angel-versus-demon symbolism is broad, while the school disguise exists mostly to force the enemies together. What gives it life is that neither Akutsu nor Lily holds control for long. Their competing missions turn his attraction into a weakness, and the comedy repeatedly lets pride suffer.
