KINMOZA!

A Japanese girl's former British homestay friend comes to Japan, creating a warm school comedy about affection and mutual cultural fascination.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Shinobu once stayed with Alice's family in Great Britain and returned to Japan still missing her time overseas. An airmail letter announces that Alice is coming to Japan. Alice then enters the daily life Shinobu had been remembering from afar. The resulting comedy expands around girls from both countries and a friendship unwilling to remain long-distance.

Super Eyepatch Fox

After a homestay in Great Britain, Shinobu returns to Japan still missing Alice and her time abroad. Then Alice sends a letter announcing that she is coming to Japan. Their reunion brings Japanese and British perspectives into an easygoing school comedy. Other girls join the circle, expanding one international friendship into an ensemble.

Gigguku

Alice sends Shinobu a letter saying she is coming to Japan, then crosses countries to reunite with her! That is friendship with follow-through. Shinobu already misses her British homestay, so Alice's arrival brings that cherished experience directly into everyday school life. Add girls from both countries and the reunion becomes a whole warm comedy about mutual fascination.

Father's Basement

The Japanese and British contrast invites broad cultural jokes rather than precise observation. That is easier to accept because Shinobu and Alice's friendship is the actual premise. A past homestay reconnects them when Alice comes to Japan, and other girls from both countries expand the group. The comedy begins from affection rather than treating cultural difference as a lecture.

The story begins with Oomiya Shinobu, a 15-year-old, seemingly pure Japanese girl who actually did a homestay in Great Britain. Even after coming back to Japan, she still misses her time overseas.

What defines it

A gentle cute-girls comedy. Cozy moe.
