The Anime Lad
Six childhood friends vow to become treasure hunters. Five grow into formidable heroes, while Krai decides during their first quest that he chose poorly. His friends still make him the leader. He now faces dangerous work, enormous expectations, and the minor administrative difficulty of wanting to retire from all of it.
Super Eyepatch Fox
Krai and five childhood friends promise to become great treasure hunters. Their abilities flourish, but his first quest convinces him that the profession does not fit. The group makes him leader anyway. The comedy begins with an underpowered man carrying responsibility for exceptional companions while looking for a respectable way to leave adventuring behind.
Gigguku
Six friends chase the strongest treasure-hunter dream, and Krai realizes almost immediately that he is the one person who should NOT be there! His companions keep charging toward greatness while he gets the leadership role and a mountain of expectations. The gap between their heroic ambition and his sincere desire to retire is an incredible comedy engine!
Father's Basement
The fantasy party includes five obvious prodigies and one leader who says he is not suited to the work. That imbalance is broad, but useful. Krai is not chasing hidden greatness in the opening premise. He is trying to survive the expectations created by a childhood vow and a leadership position he never wanted.
