The Anime Lad
Torako Koshi has cultivated a polished reputation at school. Then Noko Shikanoko appears, complete with antlers and a casual disregard for ordinary behavior. Torako is somehow pulled into her orbit, where deer crackers carry social importance and structural damage barely delays the school day. Maintaining composure becomes less realistic each time Noko enters a room.
Super Eyepatch Fox
Honor student Torako meets Noko, a transfer student with antlers and an unexplained command of deer-related chaos. Their school routine quickly becomes a repeated violation of common sense. The comedy jumps between slapstick and self-aware narration, treating every mundane rule as something antlers can probably puncture.
Gigguku
Nokotan walks into a classroom with antlers, impossible confidence, and the gravitational pull of a falling piano! Torako keeps trying to preserve one normal school day while the show tears open the ceiling for another deer joke. The animation will spend absurd effort on a tiny reaction, then gleefully discard physics. I respect this reckless allocation of resources!
Father's Basement
The repeated deer jokes can wear out their welcome before the episode moves on. The sharper visual comedy gets wonderfully irresponsible. Torako's need to protect her polished image gives Noko's nonsense a solid target, while the self-aware interruptions keep the school format from becoming too orderly.
