A class built from twelve assassins can reduce people to themed obstacles, and the setup makes little effort to look plausible. Its useful idea is proximity. Haru must share ordinary school space with people assigned to target her, while Tokaku enters under the same hidden terms. Routine becomes suspense because no interaction can be read at face value.
