A mysterious gate opens in Ginza and releases monsters and medieval soldiers into Tokyo. Japan responds by sending a Self-Defense Forces unit through the portal. The group, led by soldier and committed hobbyist Youji, finds villages under threat from a dragon. Interworld contact has begun with unusually poor visitor management.
