Takeshi’s existing school problems have acquired a much larger jurisdiction.

A second magical society hidden beside modern life is standard genre equipment. The opening still provides a useful collision. Takeshi’s normal world is already strained by his fake relationship with Kurumi, then Mui’s arrival introduces a much larger conflict. The premise works best when those two kinds of instability occupy the same life.
