Synopsis

The Anime Lad

Humanity lives in huge underground caves without knowledge of the sky. Simon works as a digger in Jiha village, while Kamina insists on reaching the surface and receives punishment for the effort. Simon discovers a strange glowing object during excavation. Then danger arrives from above with Yoko and a small robot. Local ceiling policy becomes difficult to enforce.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Simon digs for an underground village. Kamina believes in a surface few people accept and keeps trying to break through. A glowing discovery leads to the compact robot Lagann. Then a girl named Yoko brings the world above crashing into Jiha. The opening turns excavation into escape while Simon's caution collides with Kamina's impossible confidence.

Gigguku

Gurren Lagann starts with a boy whose careful digging keeps his village moving and a friend who wants to punch through the roof of their entire world. Then a strange object and a tiny robot give that argument machinery. Simon and Kamina make a brilliant contrast. One understands the earth in his hands, while the other refuses to accept that it should contain them!

Father's Basement

Kamina speaks with the restraint of an alarm, and the opening makes no attempt to ration his confidence. Simon keeps it usable. He is a shy digger with a concrete skill, living in a village that treats the surface as foolishness. When danger arrives from above, the small robot they find makes the scale absurd. Simon's hesitation prevents the bravado from becoming weightless.
