ReLIFE

A 27-year-old job seeker enters a supervised experiment that restores his teenage appearance, turning high school routine into an adult reassessment of failure and social confidence.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

At 27, Arata Kaizaki is unemployed and performing adulthood badly. A representative from the ReLIFE program offers him a pill that makes him look seventeen and a paid year as a high school student. The experiment may help him reenter society. First he must pass ordinary exams, which adulthood has not prepared him to do.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Unemployed Arata joins a rehabilitation study that gives him a teenage appearance and sends him back to high school for one year. He retains an adult mind but not the curriculum, stamina, or social ease he expected. Researchers watch while classmates unknowingly become part of his second chance.

Gigguku

Arata thinks looking seventeen will make high school manageable because he has adult experience. Then the tests arrive. The gap between his supposed maturity and his total classroom helplessness is hilarious, but his career shame gives every joke an ache. ReLIFE makes a second chance feel less like wish fulfillment and more like being asked to participate in life again!

Father's Basement

A miracle pill solves the logistical problem with suspicious ease, and the research ethics deserve a long meeting. Arata makes the premise worthwhile. He enters school with adult experience but immediately looks unprepared for ordinary classes and teenage attention. His embarrassment gives the broad age-reset device a more grounded source of comedy.

The story follows Kaizaki Arata, a 27-year-old jobless man, who fails at every job interview he had after quitting his last company. His life changes after he met Yoake Ryou of the ReLife Research Institute, who offered him a drug that can change his appearance to 17-years-old and to become a subject in an experiment for one year.

What defines it

Arata expects school to be simple with experience on his side, then discovers how thoroughly he has forgotten academics and social rhythm. His perspective helps classmates while their struggles expose habits he carried out of a damaging workplace and never resolved.
