One-Punch Man

A parody of the power fantasy: the hero wins every fight in one punch, so the story is about everything except the fight. Its first season's animation is legendary.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Saitama trained until every opponent became a one-punch problem. This has damaged his job satisfaction. He still patrols the city without official recognition and searches for a challenge while monsters deliver speeches. Aspiring cyborg hero Genos sees limitless strength. Saitama sees a young man who has arrived at his apartment during dinner.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Train every day. Lose the hair. Gain enough strength to end any fight immediately. Keep searching for an opponent who raises the pulse. Meet Genos, a cyborg taking detailed notes. Discover hero work includes rankings and paperwork. Become his reluctant teacher.

Gigguku

Saitama walks into disaster looking like he missed a bus, then one punch tears the whole screen open. The contrast is perfect. Every monster arrives with theatrical confidence. He is thinking about errands. Genos shows up blazing with mechanical detail and treats this bored man like the answer to everything. Their first conversation turns overwhelming power into the strangest mentorship pitch imaginable!

Father's Basement

A hero who ends every fight immediately should flatten the premise. The opening survives by making Saitama's emotional vacancy the problem. Victory brings no recognition and barely any feeling. Genos supplies the opposite energy, studying every movement with painful sincerity. Their mismatch gives the comedy somewhere to go after the first opponent disappears.
