This Art Club Has a Problem!

A middle-school art club runs on clashing priorities, with serious painter Mizuki surrounded by a gifted boy devoted to fictional girls and classmates treating the room as social territory.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Mizuki Usami would like her middle-school art club to produce ordinary student artwork. Uchimaki draws beautifully but dedicates his skill to designing the perfect fictional wife. Their president mostly sleeps, while other visitors supply additional disruptions. Mizuki remains the club's lone representative for both practical activity and obvious emotional complications.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Mizuki takes art seriously. Uchimaki has exceptional technical skill and almost no interest in drawing real people. Their mismatched priorities fuel clubroom comedy, while Mizuki's concealed affection makes every argument harder to manage. Episodic school incidents keep turning creative talent into embarrassment and accidental closeness.

Gigguku

This club has one responsible artist, and naturally she is surrounded by complete nonsense. Uchimaki can draw gorgeous faces but spends that gift chasing an imaginary ideal, which drives Mizuki out of her mind for several reasons. Their bickering has fantastic rhythm, and every new art assignment becomes a chance for feelings to leak through the comedy!

Father's Basement

The oblivious boy and flustered girl setup is old equipment, and some misunderstandings run exactly where expected. The art-club setting gives it useful specificity. Uchimaki's technical ability makes his priorities genuinely maddening, while Mizuki's seriousness prevents the room from becoming pure random chaos. Their creative disagreement sustains the romantic friction.

The anime focuses on an art club in a certain middle school, and its members: Subaru Uchimaki, who is a genius at drawing faces, but only wants to draw the perfect 2D wife, Colette, a rich troublemaker who never stops making mischief, and the club president, who sleeps through sessions and collects sleeping aids. Mizuki Usami is the only person in the club who wants to do art club-like activities, and constantly struggles to do so.
