Synopsis

The Anime Lad

Tenma Tsukamoto wants to confess to classmate Karasuma before he transfers away. Delinquent Kenji Harima wants to confess to Tenma, who barely registers his intentions. Both possess determination. Neither possesses a functional method. Their school days expand into misunderstandings and avoidable public incidents.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Tenma cannot tell Karasuma she loves him. Harima cannot tell Tenma he loves her. Every attempt produces a new misunderstanding, often with wildly disproportionate effort. The school ensemble keeps multiplying the confusion, while parody and delinquent theatrics turn an ordinary chain of crushes into broad comic spectacle.

Gigguku

Tenma and Harima are desperately sincere but completely doomed at communication. Karasuma sits at the center of Tenma's effort. Then the whole class catches the fallout. School Rumble treats every crush like permission to switch genres for the funniest possible misunderstanding.
