Fuuka

Fuuka contrasts online connection with face-to-face attraction, following a phone-obsessed transfer student drawn toward music by a free-spirited classmate.

Synopsis
The Anime Lad

Shy transfer student Yuu Haruna spends much of his time checking social media. He meets Fuuka Akitsuki, a free-spirited girl who does not own a phone and is drawn to music. Their clashing habits complicate his attempt to settle quietly into a new school.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Yuu arrives at a new school more comfortable communicating online than speaking directly. Fuuka, a classmate without a phone, pulls his attention into the immediate world around him. Meanwhile, he reconnects online with Koyuki, a childhood friend who has become a popular singer.

Gigguku

Yuu lives through his phone until Fuuka barrels into his routine with no interest in owning one and a strong connection to music. At the same time, social media reconnects him with childhood friend and singer Koyuki. Two completely different kinds of connection collide around him!

Father's Basement

Fuuka’s first encounters with Yuu lean on abrasive misunderstanding, and the love triangle announces itself early. The contrast is still useful. Koyuki reconnects through the screen, while Fuuka disrupts Yuu’s physical surroundings, giving his romantic confusion two clearly different forms.
