An unexpected act of courage leaves supernatural officials unprepared to process him according to schedule. Bureaucratic confusion opens an unusual evaluation. Yusuke responds to cosmic authority with the same respect he gives school authority, preserving operational consistency.

Fourteen-year-old Yusuke is known for fighting and skipping class. One impulsive act contradicts that reputation so completely that Spirit World officials have no plan for him. From there, supernatural bureaucracy meets streetwise defiance as Yusuke is asked to prove what kind of person exists beneath the label everyone already chose.
Gigguku
The brilliant move is starting with everybody certain they understand Yusuke. Teachers see a thug. Other kids see a threat. Yusuke mostly agrees because anger is easier than explanation. Then one instinctive choice throws supernatural authorities off balance! The premise is fun, but the emotional punch comes from watching people react when the worst kid in school does something nobody can fit into his reputation.
Father's Basement
Its age shows in long pauses and a production rhythm that predates binge-era impatience. The opening uses that space well. Yusuke is not a lovable rogue polished for immediate approval. He is rude and isolated, yet capable of an action so selfless that spiritual administration has no prepared response. That contradiction gives the supernatural setup emotional weight before tournaments or power systems enter the sales pitch.
