Ayumu is a high school student who now lives as a zombie under the care of necromancer Eucliwood Hellscythe. Domestic undeath is already inconvenient. Then he accidentally deprives magical girl Haruna of her power, and she orders him to handle the anti-Megalo fighting in her place. His extracurricular schedule has become difficult to explain.
Super Eyepatch Fox
Ayumu attends school while living as a zombie and serving Eucliwood, the necromancer who restored him. An encounter with Haruna leaves him holding her magical power and her combat responsibility. The setup stacks supernatural systems on one reluctant boy, then lets each set of rules interfere with the others.
Gigguku
Ayumu is already trying to fit school around being a zombie and serving a necromancer. Then he takes Haruna's power by accident, and she hands him her monster-fighting shift. I love the sheer collision of categories. The premise keeps finding ways for one supernatural problem to make every other part of his life louder and more ridiculous.
Father's Basement
The fanservice is baked into the genre list and can become exhausting fast. The cleaner comic engine is Ayumu's workload. He is undead, tied to Eucliwood, and suddenly responsible for Haruna's fights after taking her power. Those obligations do not fit together gracefully. When the show trusts that incompatibility, it has more than cheap provocation to work with.
