Tatsumi Oga attends a school populated almost entirely by delinquents and has established himself as the student least worth provoking. His routine changes when he encounters a baby connected to the demon world. The child becomes attached to Oga, apparently recognizing an appropriate guardian. Oga now has school fights, supernatural visitors, and childcare duties for which violence offers incomplete solutions.

Schoolyard fights now share time with supernatural childcare. The series treats combat strength as a deeply questionable qualification for parenting.

Oga has the exact emotional range you want nowhere near a baby, so naturally the demon infant picks him! Their forced partnership turns every ordinary delinquent confrontation into a supernatural daycare emergency. The comedy is loud and proudly ridiculous, but the image of the toughest guy at school hauling around a tiny, demanding companion keeps finding fresh ways to make me laugh.
Father's Basement
The series believes volume is a renewable resource, and its parade of aggressive schoolboys can blur together early. The baby fixes that. His attachment to Oga sabotages the usual tough-guy posturing and gives each brawl an extra logistical problem. When the show remembers that reluctant parenting is funnier than another shouting contest, its dumb premise becomes reliably sharp.
