Synopsis

The Anime Lad

During summer vacation, Norimichi and his friends plan to watch a fireworks display from the town lighthouse. They want to determine whether fireworks look round or flat from the side. Nazuna, Norimichi's crush, introduces another plan by asking him to run away with her. The afternoon now contains competing forms of uncertainty.

Super Eyepatch Fox

Norimichi's friends choose the lighthouse as the best place to settle an argument about fireworks. Nazuna has a more personal proposal. She asks Norimichi to leave with her. One summer day places schoolboy curiosity beside a decision neither a crush nor a fireworks display can make simple.

The boys are treating the shape of fireworks like the central problem of summer. Then Nazuna asks Norimichi to run away with her, and suddenly that lighthouse plan has serious competition.
