BEASTARS arrived under a cloud of CG skepticism, then won people over with Orange's expressive animation and social tension. Chihayafuru returned after six years, Ascendance of a Bookworm built its audience patiently, and Iruma-kun became the cheerful Saturday show people kept recommending.
