Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S marked Kyoto Animation's major television return, giving the season an emotional center beyond the show itself. Sonny Boy split viewers with its abstract storytelling, while Vanitas found its style-conscious crowd and Uramichi Oniisan turned adult burnout into painfully relatable comedy.
