The Anime Lad
Light Yagami finds a notebook with instructions for killing anyone whose face and name he knows. He tests it and confirms the documentation. Then he appoints himself global justice department. A bored death god watches from his bedroom. Police notice the pattern. The world's most secretive detective announces that the killings have become an investigation.
Gigguku
Light writes one name and waits. The notebook is real. From there every tiny choice feels radioactive. Then a detective challenges him and the entire premise locks into place. Two people testing each other's limits without sharing a room had me leaning toward the screen. Even a pause before writing becomes an event!
Father's Basement
The setup invites adolescent fantasies about fixing the world with absolute power. Light embraces that fantasy so quickly it becomes the evidence against him. The sharper move is introducing a detective who treats each killing as data. Their first exchange turns a supernatural premise into a contest of controlled information, with pride already creating mistakes on both sides.
