Synopsis

The Anime Lad

Sousuke Sagara is a teenage military specialist assigned to protect student Kaname Chidori. The operation requires him to attend her school and appear ordinary, two conditions that prove unexpectedly incompatible. He understands weapons and surveillance. Casual student life is less cooperative. Kaname becomes the unwilling witness to his civilian difficulties.

A secret assignment sends soldier Sousuke into a Japanese high school to guard Kaname. Identify threats. Maintain cover. Survive classroom etiquette. Father's Basement

The series changes gears between military tension and broad school comedy with very little warning. That instability becomes useful whenever Sousuke applies battlefield logic to harmless teenage life. Kaname supplies the necessary resistance, refusing to become a passive assignment. Their collision gives the premise more character than a standard undercover protection story.

Sousuke Sagara, a seventeen year old military specialist working for the secret organization MITHRIL, has been assigned to protect the latest "Whispered" candidate Kaname Chidori. To complete this task Sousuke will have to deal with enemies from his past as well as the occasional panty thief.

What defines it

A mecha military action-comedy. Sharp action and hilarious fish-out-of-water gags.
