A season for sampling

Nothing completely owned the conversation, though Shiki's slow rural horror gathered momentum as its oppressive summer atmosphere settled in. Amagami SS made its reset-after-each-romance format a selling point, while Seitokai Yakuindomo found the viewers who wanted an endless stream of deadpan dirty jokes.
